About Henry

Henry Carroll is an NYC-based video editor. He edits long- and short-form content including commercials, socials, music videos, and trailers for brands including Taco Bell, Honda, and Pfizer.

He is currently based at Hooligan Edit Co. in Tribeca and has previously worked with Nomad Edit, Radical Media, and R/GA on a wide variety of projects ranging from narrative fiction, non fiction, commercials, music videos, and 3D projection mapped exhibits.

Henry has cut several scripted and non-fiction shorts, notably the Accolade Global Film Award winning short documentary "Elephant in the Room". He has also cut hundreds of web and social media videos for Lionsgate's Tribeca Shortlist movie streaming service, including interviews with actors and filmmakers, movie trailers, social media series, and promos designed for the Tribeca Film Festival pre-roll ads. Henry has acted as an assistant editor on the New York Times' Critic Pick OBIT. and the Emmy-nominated Keepers of the Game.

Henry is a graduate of Vassar College with a dual-major in Film and Music. He is the author of the cover story of issue 5.3 of the film journal Film Matters and he wrote his undergraduate thesis on the late film output of Michael Mann, focusing specifically on his use of digital cinematography and its emotional affect on viewers.
